U11 and U13 U15 and U17 An all action and fun packed day and a half covering all aspects of badminton. Supported by Kelly Mathews, former England International and U19 European Singles Champion. Currently coaching multiple English National Champions and a Badminton England Futures Coach. Assisting Kelly Mathews will be Steven Chappell, former England top 20 men’s singles player and current director of VICTOR Sport UK Ltd. Lunch will be provided on the full day of coaching. | Lauren Smith and Mark Middleton pick English U19 National Title |
 Congratulations to Lauren Smith who picked up her second English National U19’s title at the weekend. Lauren and her partner Alex Langley, who were unseeded at the event, overcame second seeds Alyssa Lim and Paunga Riou 21-16, 21-17 in the semi finals. In the final against Hayley Rogers and Helena Lewczynska they had a hard fought match edging it 21-13, 19-21, 21-12. Last year Lauren picked up the U19 National mixed doubles title. In the mixed doubles fellow VICTOR sponsored player also picked up another title with partner Alyssa Lim. They defeated Ryan McCarthy and Sophie Sankey 21-13, 21-8 in the final

| Calum Menzies overcomes the odds to become Scottish National Champion |

Well done to Calum Menzies who this weekend who became Scottish National Champion for the first time. Calum who was seeded two for the event defeated top seed Kieran Merilies 21-16, 21-16 in the final. Menzies never looked back after sweeping to a quick 7-1 lead in the first set. This capped a great day for Calum who was later called up to the Scotland squad for the first time later in the day.| VIP visit in one of the biggest factories in the world |
